Andrew and William, long-time friends and business partners, were Joint Managing Directors of a Mauritian Trust Management Company. During their six-year tenure, it grew to be a formidable and well-respected brand, both on the island and internationally, with a staff complement of forty-five and over five hundred structures under management. In 2021 they resigned due to a sale to a Private Equity consortium. The overriding focus of the new owners was EBITDA, multiple increases of client fees and a dramatic drop in service standards.
In 2022 William and Andrew were approached by the owner of LC Abelheim to partner with him in the 15-year-old company. They both operate as joint Executive Directors of this well-established business. Due to the intimate relationship that they have forged with their private clients over +25 years, this partnership allows them to continue their counsel as Trustee and Director with existing clients, as well as the new clients attained through the partnership.
William du Toit
William is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute for Securities & Investments (Ch MCSI). Having earned this designation through the Private Client Investment Advice and Management Diploma he supports this knowledge with an MBA in Financial Services from the University of Sheffield Hallam.
He began his career in offshore banking with Midland-HSBC following which he joined Standard Chartered Private Bank where he rose to the position of Executive Director. He then joined a trust company, working with the original partners as a bank and wealth manager for 12 years. William relocated to Mauritius in January 2015.
Andrew Fox
Andrew graduated with a B.Com and a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance, Banking and Investment Management from the University of Natal. He qualified as a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2003 and was made a Fellow in 2006.
In 2001, he left South Africa to join a small trust business in Guernsey, where he became a Director in 2006 and a Partner soon after. Andrew played a key role in growing the business in Guernsey. Andrew relocated to Mauritius in 2015.
Daveena Pareemamun
With almost 20 years of experience in the financial sector and a Master’s degree in Finance, Daveena brings both expertise and insight to her role as Managing Director of LCA. Prior to her current role, Daveena held positions in new business management and progressed to Managing Director within the fiduciary services sector.
Along the way, Daveena also worked for a CIS manager which managed a substantial fund. Her breadth of experience and depth of knowledge make her an outstanding leader for our team bringing both confidence and vision.
Nirvan Maudhoo
Nirvan brings over 15 years of experience in the financial services sector, underpinned by a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with Finance and an ACCA Fellow designation. He began his career at KPMG, where he led audits for major local conglomerates before expanding his expertise into the Global Business sector.
He has held leadership roles as Finance Director at a multinational mining company and at a trust company, refining his skills in finance, tax, budgeting, audit and reporting. Nirvan leverages his broad experience to steer the team and uphold the financial objectives of LC Abelheim.
Parveen Babajee
Senior Client Accountant
Parveen holds a BSc in Accounting from the University of Mauritius and is currently pursuing ACCA studies. With several years of experience in auditing and accounting, he has developed expertise across various industries, including retail, manufacturing, and hospitality.
In 2024, Parveen joined LCA as a Senior Client Accountant in the client accounting department, where he manages client accounts and ensures accurate and efficient financial management.
Akash Ramguttee
Assistance Client Accountant
Akash joined LC Abelheim in 2024 as an Assistant Client Accountant. His previous experience was as an Audit Associate and as a Semi Senior Audit Associate, handling over 40 entities, both offshore and domestically. He has a strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Accounting Standards (IAS), and local regulations. Akash has completed ACCA Level 1 and is currently pursuing ACCA Level 2.
Mitchell Meugens
Trust and Corporate Administrator
Mitchell holds a BCom Honours in Financial Management and a CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting, providing him with a solid understanding of corporate dynamics.
His career includes roles such as a Management Accountant, where he specialized in business interruption analysis and evaluated the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on performance across various entities. He later worked as a Financial Manager, where he gravitated towards investor relations, showcasing his expertise in fostering connections with investors.
In 2024, Mitchell joined LC Abelheim as a Trust and Corporate Administrator. His background enables him to deliver solutions to meet the specific needs of clients.
Hemraz Ujodha
Client Accounting Manager
Hemraz has over two decades of experience in the Financial Services Industry. Prior to joining LCA, he held positions at firms such as Besix Mtius, La Prudence Mauricienne Assurances Ltee, NinetyEast Corporate (Mauritius) Limited, JurisTax, Vuna Capital Trustees (Mauritius) Ltd, and JTC. With extensive experience in the Global Business Sector, he now leads the client accounting department at LC Abelheim.
He is an Associate of the Institute of Public Accountants (Australia) and actively participates in professional development through workshops and certifications in the financial sector.
Aymaan Moolkeea
Administrator
In 2023, Aymaan joined the LC Abelheim team to start his career in the financial services as Administrator Support. He works closely with the Administration Team, demonstrating a high level of dedication and enthusiasm. Aymaan is currently studying governance and secretarial practices through The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland.
Nazida Islam-Moolkeea
Administration Manager
With almost two decades of industry experience, Nazida specializes in establishing and organizing funds and companies, as well as managing company secretarial, administrative, legal, and compliance matters. Nazida holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Mauritius and is a qualified member of the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland, admitted as an Associate of the Institute.
Her career began in the global business sector in Mauritius, at Cim Global Business Ltd (now IQEQ), within the Corporate Services Department. In this role, she oversaw professional teams and managed a diverse portfolio of international clients, including high-net-worth individuals, global funds, foreign companies, GBC 1 and GBC 2 entities, collective investment schemes, CIS managers, and domestic companies. In 2016, she joined Oak Management and worked her way up to the position of Admin Manager before leaving in 2023. Starting in January 2024, she began working as an Administration Manager at LC Abelheim.
Pristina Purusram
Company and Trust Administrator
Pristina holds a Diploma in Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Management from Leeds Beckett University, UK and has several years of experience in the offshore sector. Pristina started her career as Administrative Assistant and was promoted to Junior Corporate and Trust Administrator. In 2024, she joined LC Abelheim Ltd as a Company and Trust Administrator, whereby she manages a portfolio of clients.
Maneka Gopall
Senior New Business Administrator
Maneka is a qualified professional with a BSc (Hons) degree in Management with Finance and nearly a decade of experience in the offshore sector. Starting at The Mauritius Commercial Bank as a Corporate Registry Trainee in the Capital Market Department, Maneka later moved to the financial sector, taking on the role of Junior Corporate and Trust Administrator. Her performance led to a promotion to Corporate and Trust Administrator. In 2024, Maneka joined LC Abelheim and now serves as the Senior New Business Administrator.
Palavee Parsatam
Senior Compliance Administrator
Palavee is a legal professional with a robust background in Litigation and Compliance. After obtaining an LLB degree in 2018 from the University of Middlesex. Palavee completed her Bar Professional Training Course at University of the West of England and was subsequently called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2019, followed by the Mauritius Bar. With several years of extensive experience in litigation, Palavee has handled cases in various areas, including employment, contract, civil, and criminal law. Transitioning from litigation, Palavee moved into the global business sector by joining a company providing compliance services. This shift allowed Palavee to apply legal expertise to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and mitigate risks for clients. Currently, Palavee serves as a Senior Compliance Administrator at LC Abelheim. In this role, Palavee is responsible for overseeing compliance initiatives, ensuring regulatory adherence, and providing strategic guidance to support the organization’s goals.
Zuhayr Moolkeea
Junior New Business Administrator
Zuhayr Moolkeea holds a Diploma in International Business Management from Curtin University and posses a solid foundation of work experience in the offshore sector. In March 2024, he joined LC Abelheim as a Junior New Business Administrator. Zuhayr is dedicated to contributing to the team’s success through hard work and determination. Known for his reliability and strong work ethic, he is committed to adding value to the New Business team.
Soumedha Sookun
Senior Client Accountant
Soumedha will complete her Masters in Accounting and Finance in October through Wales University. She holds a Diploma in Management Studies from Greenwich and is working towards her ACCA.
Soumedha started her career in the UK, and moved back to her homeland in 2010 as an Accounts Payable Officer. She became a team leader at Accenture and then Accountant at Andetta, where she worked for the past 10 years. She speaks English, French, Hindi and Creole, and will be an invaluable asset to LC Abelheim.
Jessica Sanmukhiya

Jessica has a BSc (Hons) in Management from the University of Mauritius. Her varied experience since leaving university has given her a broad range of skills which LC Abelheim will put to good use in our Administration Department. Jessica is highly organised, has an excellent eye for detail and is systems-oriented.

Kentish brings an enthusiasm to learn and great sense of humour to his internship at LCA. We are his first outing into the world of finance, and we look forward to equipping him with all the tools he needs to study further and progress in this field.
Joanna Hume
Company & Trust Administrator & Review Officer
Jo is a conscientious administrator with more than 30 years of experience and meticulous attention to detail.
She started as a Personal Assistant to the MD of a Zimbabwean Destination Management Company in 1989, before moving to South Africa to manage events for a well-known private boys’ school in Johannesburg. She moved schools with her sons and in 2012 became personal assistant to two executive manages at one of South Africa’s best schools (voted Africa’s Top School in 2021). She moved to Cape Town in 2018 and joined a highly sought-after prep school as their Admissions Officer. Life took her to Ireland next where she worked as a PA, and now to Mauritius – where the functioning of LCA’s growing office is in very experienced and efficient hands!
Niven Ganapathee
Company & Trust Administrator
Niven is an IT professional with 10 years of experience across a diversity of industries, from IT to the Financial sector, which will serve him well in his new role.
He has a BSc Hons in Computer Science and spends his spare time coaching youth football in academies.
Before his coaching, he spent years volunteering at an international youth-run NGO providing young people with leadership development, cross-cultural internships, and global volunteer exchange experiences.
Rachel Didié
Administration Support
Rachel has many years of experience and an excellent attitude towards growth and success. She worked her way up from data entry to accounts clerk, to an administrative clerk at a bank. She spent 5 years as an Accounts Clerk at one of Mauritius’ largest production and distribution companies; and then another 5 years as a Customer Service Representative at one of the largest insurance companies in the country.
She has found her new home at LCA, where her diverse experience and skill-set will be an asset to our Administration Team.
Nousrine Soobhany
Senior Administrator
Nousrine is a focused and dedicated member of two teams – Finance and Admin. She has a BSc in Accounting and is currently studying towards her ACCA accreditation.
She did two work placements whilst at University, learning about accounting and auditing, and then joined one of those firms as an Auditor in 2011. In 2013 she was headhunted by LCA to work as a Fund Administrator and Accountant. She has now moved into the Administration Team to ensure customers get what they need, when they need it.
Shamreenbhai Adam Essack
Administration Manager
Shamreen is an experienced Client Services Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry. She is skilled in Corporate Secretarial, Customer Service and Compliance/Risk Management; and has a sound knowledge and understanding of the legal framework of the financial services industry. She has an LLB from the University of Mauritius, is an Associate with the Governance Institute ICSA UK, and holds a Diploma in International Trust Management from STEP.
Shamreen started out, more than 15 years ago, as an Assistant Unit Leader at BA Corporate Services Ltd, and then became a Contract Specialist in the Legal Department at Accenture; before moving to MATCO as a Corporate and Trust Administrator. She rapidly progressed within the organisation and took more senior roles before spending the last 7 years as their Senior Client Services Manager and Company Secretary.
Ridge Kotadoo
Compliance Officer / MLRO
Ridge obtained his BSc (Hons) in Finance from the University of Mauritius in 2016 and was also admitted as a STEP Affiliate in 2021. Ridge has spent his career in the Mauritian global business sector which started in 2015 when he joined Mauri Experta Ltd, a licensed management company, starting off as a junior corporate and trust administrator and moving up the ranks before leaving as the team leader of their new business department in 2022.
He then moved to Heritage Fiduciary Services Ltd, another licensed management company, as their compliance administrator before making the jump over to LCA in 2023 where he currently holds the position of compliance officer and MLRO. His understanding of the Mauritian and global financial services industry, risk management and years of hands-on industry experience make him an invaluable member of our team.
Anjou Kamal Purmessur
Head of Operations
Anjou has a BSc Honours in Economics from the University of Mauritius, and almost 20 years of experience of managing Companies and Trusts.
She worked as a Trust and Company Administrator for 3 of Mauritius’ best known Management Companies from 2006 to 2017, before moving into Compliance at another well-known MC. She was soon promoted to Team Leader and then Manager of the New Business Team. She moved across to LCA in 2023, where she will be heading up our New Business Team, and being the in-house guru for all industry knowledge!
Michael Salgado
Client Executive
Michael is well versed in financial principles with strong problem-solving abilities. He has excellent communication and people skills and is an able trainer and collaborator. Michael has a BBusSc in Accounting and Finance from UCT, and a STEP Diploma in International Trust Management (receiving an Excellence Award for the highest score globally in Company Law and Practice).
He started his career in business development and sustainable strategy, before moving to the USA in 2018 and joining the marketing team for a luxury watch company. He then immigrated to Mauritius in 2021 and joined Heritage Fiduciary Services as a Client Service Administrator, before being promoted to Client Executive at LCA in 2023.
James Rambo
Client Executive
James has always had a strong interest in the finance sector and the macro economy, which he now enjoys discussing with clients. James did his BComm Honours in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management, and is a certified CFA, with a Diploma in International Trust Management.
He started at a private equity firm in Johannesburg learning about risk, and then became an analyst at Citi Bank to investigate the global implications of Brexit. He immigrated to Mauritius in 2018 and joined Oak Management as a Client Executive, moving to Heritage Fiduciary Services in 2021, and then to LCA in 2023. His analytical skills and understanding of investments and risk ensure his clients are always well informed.
When he isn’t at work, or on the water – he plays cricket for Mauritius’ National Team!
Sanja Sithanen Parsad

Sanja is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Accountants (FCCA) and is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMLS). She also holds a BCom in Economics and Finance from the University of Mebourne, Australia.
She has over 10 years of experience in the global business sector and her main areas of expertise are compliance and regulatory, accounting and taxation.
